Abstract
1 Red cell methaemoglobin levels were found to be significantly raised in healthy subjects given a 14-day course of primaquine with chloroquine on the first 3 days. 2 The methaemoglobin levels were not related to the quantity of primaquine excreted. 3 No primaquine could be detected in the plasma at 24 h following the last three daily doses. Keywords
