Abstract
Injection of a soluble [rat Rd/3] tumor extract induces mitosis in [rat] sinus macrophages of the draining lymph-node. This is not abolished by irradiation; the stimulus also induces monocytosis somewhat later [probably occurring as a result of an inflammatory reaction]. These findings make it likely that the stimulus induces mitosis in the resident lymph-node macrophage population. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
