Abstract
Alkenyl-, dienyl- and trienylidene-chromium and tungsten complexes (CO)5M[C(OMe){CHCH-(CHCH)n-R}][n= 0, 1, 2] are produced in one step by photolysis of M(CO)6[M = Cr, W] in the presence of 2-propyn-1-ol derivatives H–CCC(H)(OH)[(CHCH)n–R] and methanol.
