Abstract
11 dimensions of fire-fighter performance and an over-all rating of job performance were correlated with Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory scores for 73 fire fighters who had completed this inventory when applying for work. Some significant relationships were observed, but the low magnitude of the correlations did not suggest great usefulness of this test instrument in predicting fire-fighter performance. Keywords
