Abstract
A new technique for the recovery of Trichostrongyle larvae from soil and pasture samples is described. The technique is based on the difference in density of larvae and debris under the influence of a stream of water flowing upwards at a gradually decreasing flow rate. The results from trials with known numbers of larvae gave an average recovery of 74% from pasture, and of 78% from soil. Keywords
