The dynamic behaviour of the electron temperature profile in the TEXTOR Tokamak plasma

Abstract
The dynamic behaviour of the electron temperature profile was studied in different phases of the TEXTOR Tokamak discharge. The Te profile evolution was observed during start-up, flat-top and current ramp-down phase. Detailed measurements during sawtooth activity and density limit disruption were obtained. The heat diffusivity chi e was evaluated from heat pulse propagation data. The energy and current quench times were recorded in a density limit disruption after a preceding Te profile contraction.
