gfactors of high spin states inEr154,155andYb157and the nature of the neutron132+quasiparticle in transitional nuclei

Abstract
The g factors of the Iπ=11 isomer in Er154 and Iπ=132+ isomers in Er155 and Yb157 were measured using the technique of time-dependent perturbed angular distributions. The value obtained for Er154, g=+0.0154(12), indicates a predominant configuration of ν[i132,h92]10,11 for the isomeric state. The results for Er155 and Yb157, g=0.085(5) and g=0.116(12), respectively, are explained in terms of Pauli blocking of the 3 core excitation component in the wave function of the 132+ state.
