Abstract
Two patients with Bacteroides bacteraemia are described, one who failed to respond to treatment with clindamycin and the other with lincomycin, in spite of in vitro sensitivity of the organisms to these antibiotics. Subsequently the patients were successfully treated with metronidazole.Keywords
