Abstract
Dendrites of ammonium bromide growing within supersaturated gels are studied. The three-dimensional structure of the dendrite is determined, and is found in good qualitative agreement with recent theoretical predictions. The value of the growth constant is found significantly lower than that predicted by the theory in the axisymmetrical case. Keywords
