Abstract
This is a case presentation of a patient with a large sacro-coccygeal lipomeningocele sac, diagnosed and evaluated by myelography shortly after birth, with a follow-up myelogram at the age of seven years. At this time there was no local manifestation of the lipomeningocele, and on myelography no sac could be seen. However, the patient now manifested progressive neurological impairment. Surgery was performed and the surgical findings are presented. The experience with this disorder at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is discussed, and the literature is reviewed. Keywords
