Abstract
Research on the widespread and polytypic lizard Laudakia stellio (Linnaeus, 1758 Linnaeus, C. v. 1758. “Systema Naturae (Holmiae).”. In 10th ed. Volume 1, Regnum Animale (Facsimile, 1956. London: British Museum (Natural History)) [Google Scholar] ) suffers from the lack of type specimens of the taxa included. This paper reviews the valid subspecies and the information about their type specimens, and designates neotypes where necessary.Keywords
