THREE CASES OF TRISOMY IN THE MOUSE

Abstract
The discovery of 3 different autosomal trisomics, which are classed as the primary or whole-chromosome type, indicates that autosomal aneuploidy occurs in the mouse. Two of the trisomic individuals were sterile and the 3rd semisterile; no external deviations from the normal phenotype were observed. In each case the trisomy involves members of the smaller chromosome classes.
