The work on metabolism in yellow fever which is reported in this and in subsequent articles was carried out from March 15, 1928, to May 6, 1929, for the Yellow Fever Commission of the Rockefeller Foundation at Lagos, Nigeria. In the course of planning the studies and conducting the experiments, Dr. Wakeman had ample occasion to express his views as to the significance of the data obtained and every attempt has been made to present the material in accordance with his views. It was hoped that there would be human material available for investigation, but by the time the studies were begun, the epidemic of yellow fever in NigeriaThis publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
