Abstract
In external coxa saltans, an audible or palpable snapping is produced when the tractus iliotibialis is caught by the trochanter major femoris (1, 2, 3). The Ehlers-Danlos syndrome can be divided into eight types (2, 4), of which type III is characterized by hypermobility of the joints and increased elasticity of the fragile skin. We report 3 cases of bilateral snapping hip in women of the same family and suffering from Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, type III.Keywords
