Abstract
ANEURYSM of the aorta in children is rare. Aneurysm of the abdominal aorta at birth of a living infant has not been reported. In the following case a large congenital aneurysm of the abdominal aorta was not properly identified until operative rupture occurred.Case BeportA white female infant was born at the Oxford – Lafayette County Hospital, Oxford, Mississippi, On February 7, 1966, after a period of gestation of 34 weeks and spontaneous labor, with a double-footling delivery.
