A Case Study of Multiple Low Level Exposure to Plutonium Oxide

Abstract
-A large amount of data has been accumulated by studying the body contents and excretion patterns of a man who, over a period of 12 yr, was involved in a number of exposures to airborne plutonium oxide. The observed clearance pattern of material from the lung was a two-component exponential with half periods of 30 and 300 days. Full biossay and in vivo counting data are presented and estimates of dose commitment are made.
