Abstract
Tables of the power function of the X̄ chart are given for each of four sets of detection rules, for each of eleven shifts in the process average, for up to 10 subgroups following the shift, and for subgroup sizes ranging from n = 2 to n = 100. Also given is a table of Type I error probabilities for each of the four sets of detection rules, for up to 10 successive subgroups.Keywords
