Abstract
Koprowski''s Types 1 and 3 attenutated viruses were given to 8.5 million Polish and Croatian children, of whom over 500,000 were triple-negatives. No increase in poliomyelitis among vaccinated subjects was observed after immunization, and the serological conversion rates were better than 90%, whereas epidemiological efficacy was calculated as approximately 90%.Keywords
