Effect of Plasmin on Outflow Resistance in the Primate Eye.

Abstract
Summary In vitro perfusion with plasmin (porcine, trypsin-activated) decreases the flow resistance for aqueous humor in the eye of monkey (Macaca mulatta). This effect is immediate and striking and levels off at a lower value than reached with saline alone. The effect resembles that produced by hyaluronidase in some animal species.
