Abstract
Young rats (14) were injected with the hormone; the control animals were injected with saline solution. Although marked stimulation of the growth of the sex organs occurred, there was no influence on the growth of the young animals. Probably the growth-stimulating action of the pituitary body is due to another not yet isolated hormone of this organ. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
