Abstract
Total reactive cross sections for the reaction H+D2=HD+D with fast hydrogen atoms were measured in a single collision pump–probe experiment. With H atoms having translational energies of 0.84 and 1.95 eV relative to thermal D2 cross sections of 0.99±0.11 and 1.68±0.12 A2 were measured.Keywords
