Single particle lifetime in copper

Abstract
The lifetimes and energies of the electronic excitations have been calculated in copper, using the standard augmented plane wave (APW) basis. The results show that the inverse lifetimes are slightly band-dependent and follow practically a parabola in the full energy range the author studied.Keywords
