Abstract
Neovascularization of the iris developed in a woman with congenital cyanotic heart disease. This neovascularization was predominately in the form of microhemangiomas at the pupillary margin causing spontaneous hyphemas. Proliferative vascular alterations did not develop in the retina and secondary glaucoma did not occur. Keywords
