Abstract
A case of papular acrodermatitis (PAC) associated with acute anicteric type B hepatitis occurred in a 2-year-old child. Immunocytochemical studies failed to detect the presence of viral antigens in the involved skin lesion. Current knowledge of the hepatitis B viral antigens and of their possible role in PAC is discussed. Keywords
