Abstract
The "water-supplying capacity" . of soil was measured by the rate of absorption of water by the porcelain soil-point cones of Livingston and Koketsu from loam and clay soils of different temps. The rate of movement of water to the porcelain surface increased materially with rise in soil temp. for the range 0-43[degree] C.
