Abstract
Various carboxylic esters are prepared in good to excellent yields by the reaction of equimolar amounts of silyl derivatives of carboxylic acids and alcohols by using a catalytic amount of active Lewis acid in hexamethyldisiloxane, a solvent.Keywords
