Persistence of hemolysin anamnestic reactivity in rabbits.

Abstract
Rabbits after 5 years partially retained their anamnestic reactivity to the Forssman antigen in sheep erythrocytes, as evidenced by a typically faster response that largely involved antibody synthesis, but partially reverted to their Initial capacity, as evidenced by a longer latent period and a biphasic rise to peak titer that largely involved the development of the mechanism of antibody production. Induction was apparently not altered.
