Abstract
Kinetic and inhibition studies of partially purified deoxyadenosine kinase (ATP: deoxyadenosine 5''-phosphotransferase, EC 2.7.1.76, AdR kinase) from rat liver mitochondria were performed, including reaction properties, specificity of phosphate donors, phosphate acceptors, influence of nucleotides, nucleosides and their derivatives. The results were compared with those obtained from partially purified AdR kinase from rat liver cytosol.
