Abstract
Patients [22] with rupture of the Achilles tendon were successfully treated by simple end-to-end suture under local anesthesia. The results are discussed in the light of previous literature on surgical vs. conservative treatment, and the advantages of surgery under local anesthesia are pointed out. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
