Abstract
The karyotypic changes in human tumors are briefly discussed. Evidence is presented to show that quantitative DNA data may be of prognostic significance: squamous -cell tumours of the cervix uteri have a relatively favourable prognosis if the DNA mode is in the hypotetraploid region and carcinomata of the corpus uteri show a favorable response if the tumor is near-diploid.Keywords
