Abstract

Computed tomography (CT) was used to evaluate a patient with pseudomyxoma peritonei. The CT findings, which were suggestive but nonspecific, included thin-walled low attenuation daughter cysts and pseudoascites. Extrapancreatic pseudocysts in pancreatitis or loculated ascites may mimic the CT appearance of pseudomyxoma peritonei.
