Abstract
The reactions of hexachlorocyclotriphosphazatriene with bis(2-hydroxyethy1)ether yield eight products: three spiro-derivatives. N3P3Cl4[(OCH2CH2)2O], N3P3Cl2[(OCH2 CH2)2O]2, N3P3[(OCH2CH2)2O]3, an ansa, N3P3Cl4[(OCH2 CH2)2O]2, and a spiro-ansa product N3P3Cl2[(OCH2CH2)2O]2, as well as single (N3P3Cl5)2((OCH2CH2)2O] and double-bridged derivatives, (N3P3Cl4)2[(OCH2CH2)2O]2. A hydrolysis product, N3P3Cl4[O(CH2)2O(CH2)2OH]ON3P3Cl5, was also isolated. The 1H, 31P and 13C n.m.r. spectra are reported.Keywords
