Abstract
Cinephotog-raphy was utilized to study blood flow in the microcirculation of the con-junctival vessels of man utilizing synchronized stroboscopic light. Compari -sons of vascular morphology, blood flow velocity and erythrocyte aggregation were made between normals and patients with disorders of the circulation, coronary artery disease, and disorders of the blood (polycythemia and multiple myeloma.) Disease was associated with increased vascular tortuosity, erythrocyte aggregation in large vessels, and reduced flow velocity to the point of stasis. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
