Fabrication of Holographic Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal (HPDLC) with High Reflection Efficiency

Abstract
We investigated the relationship between the reflection efficiency of a holographic polymer dispersed liquid crystal (HPDLC) and the liquid-crystal/polymer phase separation structure. A small droplet size and a high droplet density increase the reflection efficiency. This means that the fabrication of a layerlike phase separation structure is necessary for realizing high reflection efficiency.
