Heats of Dissociation of Cyanogen

Abstract

Some arguments are presented which would indicate that the heat of dissociation of C₂N₂ into two CN radicals (D(C₂N₂ into 2CN)) is 5.52 ev and the heat of dissociation of CN radicals into atoms (D(CN)) is 6.52 ev.
