Abstract
The syndrome of bradycardia and hypotension has been observed in patients with acute myocardial infarction. Examples with sinus bradycardia, low pacemaker, and nodal rhythm were seen, Treatment with atropine injected intravenously resulted in an increase in heart rate and arterial blood pressure, associated with obvious general clinical improvement in some patients. Significance of the syndrome and the use of atropine in its treatment are discussed. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
