Abstract
THE Cancer Control Program in Connecticut is a Cooperative venture conducted by four organizations: the Connecticut State Medical Society; the Association of Connecticut Tumor Clinics; the Connecticut Division of the American Cancer Society; and the Connecticut State Department of Health. The efforts of these four groups are sponsored by a cancer co-ordinating committee of nine members appointed by the Connecticut State Medical Society. There are three mandatory appointments to this committee: the president of the Connecticut Cancer Society; the chairman of the Association of Connecticut Tumor Clinics; and a representative of the Connecticut State Department of Health.
