Abstract
Classical gravity has sufficient supersymmetric extension that its Hamiltonian is expressible as a Poisson bracket of supercharges. Its value, the energy, is then a manifestly positive functional of the spinor transformation parameter, identical in form to Witten's expression whose supergravity basis is thereby established. Keywords
