A Radiochemical Separation for the Determination of Zirconium or Hafnium in Rocks and Minerals by Neutron Activation Analysis

Abstract
Summary A new separation scheme for use in the neutron activation analysis of natural silicates for Hf is presented, which may be applied to a greater range of sample compositions and gives higher yields than previously published methods. Data are presented for the Hf concentrations of a number of international rock standards.
