Abstract
✓ The author analyzes 20 cases of meningioma in the cranio-orbital junction and concludes that they represent an anatomical continuum of neoplasia rather than a single specific syndrome. Different manifestations of this continuum are identified and characteristic cases presented to illustrate the surgical management of each type of tumor. Some lend themselves to total excision, but unilateral blindness postoperatively may be the price. Unless radical operative procedures are curative they cannot be justified on the basis of short-term evaluation, since many of these tumors grow very slowly. Keywords
