Abstract
Extracts and leachates of the grass A. adscensionis inhibited the growth of Rhizobium in culture conditions. Extracts from roots were generally more active than those from shoots or litter. Substances with Rf values 0.9 and 1.0 extracted from shoots inhibited Rhizobium more than those with Rf values 0.7 and 0.8. The results confirm previous studies of the effects of A. adscensionis on the nodulation of Indigofera cordifolia. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
