Abstract
Thermal noise generated by a Wien bridge was controlled synchronously by a sweep oscillograph through elimination of a high negative grid bias voltage in a 79 tube. The initial wave front served as a stimulus. Responsive foci occupied the middle ectosylvian gyrus, high frequencies anteriorly, low posteriorly. Arrangement of frequencies was exponential. A high threshold area, with an inverse order of foci, was located with 100-400 cps concentrated upon the anterior ectosylvian gyrus, 8000-16000 on the posterior, with the intermediate frequencies represented upon the sylvian gyrus. Each ear was represented bilaterally, but more strongly on the contralateral side. Electrical stimulation of the bony spiral supports these observations. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
