Serum- und Dialysatspiegel von Corticosteroiden bei Langzeit-Hämodialyse

Abstract
Bei zehn Kindern im Alter von 5–16 Jahren und zwei Erwachsenen unseres chronischen Dialyseprogramms wurden die Serumspiegel von Cortisol und Aldosteron während Hämodialyse gemessen. Die Cortisolwerte zeigten ein sehr variables Verhaltensmuster mit Verlust des Tagesrhythmus. Die Plasma-Aldosteronspiegel schwankten zwischen subnormal und stark erhöht. Mittels empfindlicher radioimmunologischer Methoden konnte erstmals der quantitative Nachweis für Cortisol und Aldosteron im Dialysat erbracht werden. The serum levels of cortisol and aldosterone were estimated during haemodialysis in ten children aged 5–16 years and in two adults of a chronic dialysis program. The cortisol values showed a greatly variable pattern with loss of the circadian rhythm. Plasma aldosterone ranged from subnormal to greatly increased levels. Using sensitive radioimmunological methods a quantitative estimation for cortisol and aldosterone in the dialysate could be made for the first time.
