Abstract
One hundred six species of saxicolous lichens are reported from a quartzite sandstone rockslide in the Canadian Rocky Mountains at Jaspar National Park, Alberta. A number of rare species are present including Phylliscum demangeonii, Rhizocarpon alpicola, and Arctoparmelia subcentrifuga. The site is considered as a number of microhabitats and most lichens are found to be microhabitat specific. It is concluded that the lichen flora of the Canadian Rockies is highly understudied.
