Abstract
The spectrum of radiation is reconstructed from the multiple-beam interferogram of the Fabry-Perot interferometer by the general method of Hilbert and Schmidt even when the reflectivity of the reflecting surfaces varies with wavenumber, and consequently the kernel of the integral equation is not symmetric. The instrumental function has infinitely narrow width, as before. The effect of noise on the reconstructed spectra is greater than in Fourier spectroscopy, but the reconstruction is not seriously disturbed in practice. Keywords
