Abstract
Nine patients with spinal epidural infection were managed with the suction-irrigation technique with excellent healing of the incision by primary intention in every case. The patients have been followed for 3 to 40 months. One patient developed a subcutaneous stitch abscess, which was treated by removal of the suture material. The surgical technique is described. Keywords
