Abstract
Two methods of quantitative linkage analysis were evaluated as screening tests for the presence of major genes that influence the expression of a quantitative trait [in humans]. Analyses of computer-simulated pedigree data indicate that both methods can be very informative in providing evidence for major genes.Keywords
