Abstract
Polyethylene glycol (PEG)–conjugated recombinant human megakaryocyte growth and development factor (MGDF, also known as PEG-rHuMGDF), a recombinant molecule related to thrombopoietin, specifically stimulates megakaryopoiesis and platelet production and reduces the severity of thrombocytopenia in animals receiving myelosuppressive chemotherapy. Keywords
