Abstract
Epidermoid and dermoid cysts are rare benign tumours which may occur anywhere in the body. About 7% of them are found in the head and neck region and only 1.6% are located within the oral cavity. Pre-operative imaging of these lesions provides important diagnostic and anatomical information with regard to the patient's therapeutic management. This case report describes imaging findings in a patient with an extensive epidermoid cyst located within the sublingual space. Keywords
