Abstract
THE number of opportunities for physicians to work abroad in private, governmental and international agencies has soared in recent years, and American medical schools are becoming increasingly involved. Only good can come from this sort of liaison in terms of general development to reduce the widening gap between the haves and the have-nots in the world.
